Office Staff

Bethel’s office staff are all volunteers.  You very well may hear a different voice each time you phone.  We are extremely blessed to have these faithful disciples who share their gifts and time to this ministry of hospitality and church administration.  There is room for others to join.  If you feel God calling you to serve in the church as an administrative assistant, please let us know.  Contact Pastor Candy or the Church Office.





Building Repairs

Like with our homes, the church buildings are often in need of maintenance.  If you have handy man skills, consider lending your gifts to the take care of needed repairs.  The Church Trustees have a list.  Please contact the church office to find out latest needed repairs.  


Audio Visual

The audio visual team is seeking helpers to operate the sound board, computers and camera.  You will be trained in how our system works.  Help is needed in both the 8:30 am and 11:00 am worship services.  You will be joining a team of other volunteers.  The more volunteers available the easier it is to rotate the serving schedules.  Many hands make light work.  Please contact the church office if you are interested.  




Bethel United Methodist Church is seeking a Nursery School teacher for Sunday mornings and special events.  This person should be a person of faith, who loves God and has a heart for the littlest of God’s children. Responsibilities include implementing creative ways for younger children to grow in the knowledge of God, through play, stories, music, etc.   A background in childhood education is helpful. The regular hours are Sunday mornings from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm.  This position pays $10 per hour.  References and background check are required.  Please send resume to Candy Thacker.

Director of Youth Ministry (Part-Time)

Bethel United Methodist Church is seeking a passionate and faith-filled
Youth Minister to serve a growing and culturally diverse community. This position is part time,
requiring approximately 20 hours per week, but would vary according to special events.
Qualified candidates must have experience in planning and leading youth ministry.

Responsibilities are but not limited to: establishing the annual youth ministry budget, program
planning for retreats, service projects, mission trips, Sunday School, Youth Worship, fellowship, and other
youth activities. Applicants should possess strong spiritual leadership, communication, and
relational skills with both parents and youth. It is expected that the applicants affirm the policy
and doctrine of the United Methodist Church through their teachings and their daily walk.

Salary – $13,300 annual
