Girl, Boy, and Cub Scouts – Girl Scout Troops 10340 and 16332 along with Bethel’s Cub and Boy Scout Troop 164 meet here.  Please check our church calendar for the weekly dates and times.

Taking Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) – is a support program for whatever method you choose to lose weight.  The group meets at Bethel on Tuesday at 4:30 pm for a private weigh-in followed by discussion and support.

Caregiver Support Group – Caring for the needs of loved ones can be rewarding, challenging, and stressful.  This group is a safe place to find emotional support and shared resources from those with similar responsibilities.  The group meets twice a month on Thursdays at 6:00 pm in the church library.  Check church calendar for schedule.

Calvary Refuge Center (Homeless Shelter & Transitional Housing) – About once a month Bethel volunteers prepare a delicious meal and make sandwiches for the families residing at Calvary Refuge Center.  We will serve the families and share in table fellowship.  If individuals or groups would like to volunteer in this ministry please check the calendar for upcoming dates.  Usually we meet on the Saturday of service at 4:00 pm at Bethel to prepare the dinner and all items to be carried to the shelter.  5:00 pm we are loading our cars heading to Calvary.  For further details speak to Catherine Johnson – Chairperson of Missions.

Helping in His Name Food Pantry –  The third Sunday of each month is mission Sunday at Bethel.  Packages of beans and rice are brought to the church placed on the altar or in the bin located in the Narthex.  These items are delivered to Helping in His Name Food Pantry for the hungry in Henry County.

Friend’s House – The third Sunday of each month is mission Sunday at Bethel.  A little wooden house is placed in the Narthex for dollars or spare change to benefit The Friend’s House, an organization that provides shelter for children in crisis in Henry County.

It is with concern of the safety and health of our artists, vendors, sponsors, staff, volunteers and patrons that we announce this year’s Awesome Blossom Spring Fest scheduled to take place on May 2, 2020 is canceled due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak.  With State and local officials having banned gatherings of 10 or more for the unforeseen future, it was inevitable that we cancel rather than reschedule.  We hope to see you in 2021.

We encourage all to adhere to the CDC guidelines to prevent the further spread of this coronavirus.
